'Prometheus' Poster: Teaser for Ridley Scott's Sci-Fi Epic

Within the last couple of several weeks, this news surrounding Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' has gradually trickled out. Despite several photos, or even a couple of quotes in the director themself, there are not many particulars concerning the actual plot from the film (Scott states the central metaphor of 'Prometheus' is all about a "greater being" who challenges the gods). Regrettably, this primary poster will not be clearing that story problem. Still, a minimum of it's awesome searching! Launched by Last Century Fox on Wednesday, the look includes a lady -- or maybe a guy, it's difficult to inform -- walking toward a huge statue of ... well, that's tough to tell, too. Would be that the "greater being" Ridley Scott has spoken of? Really, should you look carefully, it kind of resembles Darth Vader's helmet. Additionally, it has commonalities towards the original 'Alien' poster ('Prometheus' should really appear in exactly the same world as 'Alien'). In either case, 'Prometheus,' which stars Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender Guy Pearce and Idris Elba, will hit theaters on June 21, 2012, so possibly audiences will need to wait to discover for now.
